Shimla. Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh has informed that under RIDF, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Navard has sanctioned Rs 10273.82 lakh for 25 rural road projects in the state. He has said that within the next 30 days these road projects will be finalized and work on them will be started.
Vikramaditya Singh said in a statement that the state government is serious about the construction of roads in rural areas and their maintenance. He said that rural development and strengthening its economy is also his main goal. For this, special attention will be paid to road construction and their maintenance in the state.
Vikramaditya Singh said that under the guidance of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, the state would establish new dimensions of development. He said that every possible effort will be made to ensure that the road and other development works are completed within the stipulated time. He has expressed gratitude to the officers of Navard, especially Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, for the construction of these roads, due to whose efforts this amount has been approved for the construction of 25 rural roads.
