So far 58 percent voting has taken place in Bastar Lok Sabha seat

Raipur. In the first phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024, voting is being held on 102 seats in 21 states of the country on Friday. Voting also started at 7 am in the only Bastar seat of Chhattisgarh. Voting will be held in sensitive areas from 7 am to 3 pm and in normal areas from 7 am to 5 pm. The results will be declared on June 4.

Long queues are visible outside the polling booth since morning. Meanwhile, the Election Commission has released the voting percentage till 3 pm. According to the data released by the Election Commission, so far 58.14% voting has taken place in Bastar Lok Sabha. In Bastar Lok Sabha constituency, the highest turnout so far has been in Kondagaon Assembly at 70.93 percent. The lowest turnout was in Bijapur assembly constituency at 35.06 percent.

Dantewada – 56.34 percent

Jagdalpur – 61.56 percent

Kondagaon – 70.93 percent

Konta – 46.70 percent
