Raipur. The person who snatched money at DD Nagar Petrol Pump has been arrested. Domeshwari Sahu lodged a report at DD Nagar Police Station that she lives in Satyam Vihar Colony Raipura and works at Vardhman Fuels Petrol Pump, Raipura. The applicant was working at Vardhman Fuels Petrol Pump on 17.07.2025. She had kept the money given by the customers in her bag in her waist in lieu of providing fuel. During that time, at around 11.30 am, a person riding a two-wheeler came to the petrol pump and filled petrol and left from there. After some time, that person returned and snatched the bag full of money kept with the applicant and stole it. On which a crime number 288/25 section 304 (2) BNS was registered against the unknown accused at DD Nagar Police Station.
On which, under the direction of senior officers, a joint team of Anti Crime and Cyber Unit and DD Nagar Police Station inspected the crime scene and started investigating the unknown accused in the case by conducting detailed inquiries from the applicant and other staff about the incident. The team members observed the footage of CCTV cameras installed at the crime scene and its surroundings and also deployed informers in the case. The team members were also collecting information about the two-wheeler used by the unknown accused in the case and trying to identify the accused. During this time, the team members received important information about the accused involved in the incident, on which the team members traced and caught Inteshal Khan, a resident of Civil Line. On strict interrogation based on the evidence obtained, he accepted committing the said incident of snatching. On enquiring about the two-wheeler by the team members, he told that he had stolen the said two-wheeler from the Khamhardih police station area, in which a case number 158/25 under section 303(2) BNS has been registered against the accused in Khamhardih police station. On which the team members arrested the accused Inteshal Khan and seized cash, bag and the stolen two-wheeler used in the incident, Activa number CG/04/LJ/5433, worth about Rs 50,000/- from his possession and took action against the accused.
