Himachal: Shimla Police’s action against drug mafia continues. Based on secret information, Shimla Police Special Cell has detained a person with hashish and opium near Theog. Police have seized 1,859 kg of opium and 1,020 kg of hashish from the accused. Police started seizing consignments of hashish and opium. Police are investigating from where the accused had brought the consignment of hashish and opium and where he wanted to deliver it. The police are also investigating the behind-the-scenes relations between the accused. During police interrogation, the accused can make many important revelations related to the drug mafia.
According to the information, a team of Special Cell no. 1 of Shimla Police has caught a person with hashish and opium during patrolling and checking near Manlog Road under Theog police station. The accused has been identified as Attar Singh, son of Lakshmi Singh, resident of village Manlog, tehsil Tiog district, Shimla. Police have seized a consignment of 1,859 kg of opium and 1,020 kg of hashish from the accused. DSP Theog Siddharth Sharma says that the police have registered a case against the accused under the NDPS Act and started action. Police is taking strict steps against drug mafia.
