New Delhi: Actor Sidharth Malhotra reached the national capital to promote his upcoming film ‘Yodha’ with co-stars Raashi Khanna and Disha Patani. During the promotion of this film directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, the three actors also launched the patriotic song ‘Tiranga’, sung by B Praak. The music of this song has been composed by Tanishk Bagchi, while the lyrics have been written by Manoj Muntashir Shukla. Siddharth, who was last seen in ‘Indian Police Force’, said during the promotion, “Delhi is my hometown. I always feel good coming here.”
Talking about the film and how it is different from Vikram Batra’s biographical war film ‘Shershaah’, Siddharth said, “Yodha is a completely fictional story. We have created a new task force, Yoddha. So when You create something from scratch, you can take a lot of liberties. We made a lot of changes to what all the warrior task forces would do. Not only that, the action I got to do through it was a lot more than ‘Shershaah’. is different. Here I’m more energetic and lean and use different types of weapons. It’s a far more commercial and entertaining film. I think it’s one of my best action sequences I’ve done in the last decade or so There are action sequences.” ‘Yoddha’, scheduled to release on March 15, will be the first part of the action franchise directed by Siddharth. It is jointly produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan.
