In this sequence, Senior Agriculture Development Officer Brajesh Turkane conducted a surprise inspection of fertilizer shops of Pithora under the guidance of Deputy Director Agriculture Bhimrao Ghodeswar.
During the inspection, a difference was found between POS stock and physical stock in the establishment of the concerned firms Chanchala Krishi Kendra Lohriindogri, Mukesh Krishi Seva Kendra Sonasilli. Apart from this, due to non-availability of monthly progress report by the concerned firms, a show cause notice has been issued to the concerned firms and a reply has been sought within 03 days.
Similarly, a show cause notice was issued to the concerned firm Chanchala Krishi Kendra Lohriindogri and Patel Brothers Pithora for selling pesticides without a source. After receiving the reply from the concerned firm, further action will be taken under the Fertilizer Control Order and Pesticide Act. This type of action will continue continuously in the district. He has appealed to the farmers to sell the fertilizers only after taking the farmer bill and if any complaint of black marketing is found, contact the senior agriculture development officer of the concerned development blocks.
