Amaravati: Alliance leaders have issued a stern warning to YSRCP leaders who are claiming that there was no adulteration in the Tirumala laddu affair, saying that there will be serious consequences if they try to make fun of God. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan and BJP state president Madhav lashed out at the YSRCP leaders in a joint media conference on Wednesday.
He said that it is everyone’s responsibility to protect the sanctity of Tirumala. He said that a single-member commission will be formed based on the report sent by the CBI in the laddu case and additional information will be added in the court if necessary. He questioned whether they are spreading misinformation against them to divert public attention from their mistake and whether they should tolerate obscenities. He said that the guilty in this matter will be punished in every way.
He was furious that the YSRCP leaders were behaving in a way that hurt the sentiments of devotees and that they were ignoring God. He said that no one in history has come close to Venkanna Swamy and that he would alert the people if they come. Earlier, he held a key meeting with several ministers.
He made it clear that he would not ignore the great sin of making laddu and retaliate. He said that non-religious people will be allowed to have darshan of Srivari in Tirumala only after signing a declaration, and he questioned why YS Jagan should sign the declaration and not do it. He reminded the story of Abdul Kalam signing the declaration and having darshan.
