Sensation spread in the hotel due to businessman’s move, he was troubled by debt

Durg. A businessman from Maharashtra, who was staying in room number 312 of a hotel in Bhilai for the last 20 days, committed suicide by hanging himself. It is being told that he had a debt of crores of rupees. Due to not being able to repay the loan, he was living secretly in Bhilai. When the pressure from creditors increased, he committed suicide. Supela police have kept the body in the mortuary and started investigating the case.Supela police said that the deceased has been identified as Govind Tayappa Pawar (41 years), father Tayappa Pawar, resident of 1098/2 Market Committee Shejril, Dighanchi, Atpadi, Sangli Maharashtra.

He was continuously coming to Bhilai since December 2023 in connection with the work of his herbal company. He was staying in this hotel since March 3, 2024. It was here that he first tried to cut the vein of his hand, but when he could not do so, he tore a sheet, made a noose out of it, tied it on the fan and hanged himself.Hotel manager Ashish Borkar told that Govind Pawar was staying in room number 312 of the hotel since March 3.

He used to pay money on time. When Govind did not leave the room for lunch on Saturday afternoon, the staff went to call him. Despite making a lot of noise and ringing the doorbell, he did not open the room. Due to this the hotel staff suspected something untoward.After this the hotel staff tried to open the door with the master key, but the door did not open as it was locked from inside. The panicked staff immediately informed the Supela police over the phone. Police reached the hotel and broke the door and found Govind hanging.
