Schools will open in Tamil Nadu from today

Tamil Nadu : Schools are set to reopen in Tamil Nadu on Monday (June 2) after summer vacations. In this regard, cleaning work has been done in the school premises and measures have been taken to prevent the spread of infection. Textbooks and notebooks will be made available to students from day one.
Public examinations for class 10, plus 1 and plus 2 classes in Tamil Nadu school education were held from March 3 to April 15. Similarly, year-end examinations for students from class 1 to 5 were held from April 7 to 17 and for students from class 6 to 9 from April 8 to 24.
After this, summer vacations were given to school students from April 25. Schools will reopen from Monday (June 2) after the holidays. Preparations have been completed for this and schools are ready to open. Arrangements have been made to welcome the students on the first day.
Distribution of books on the first day: Free textbooks, notebooks and welfare items will be provided to students studying in government and government-aided schools on the first day of school opening.
