Sakti. Due to the negligence of the driver, a school bus full of children overturned in the canal. There were about 18 children in the school bus. Fortunately, with the help of the villagers, all the children were rescued safely. The police have taken the driver into custody in the case.
The incident took place in Pisaud of Hasaud police station area. The school bus driver was taking the children of Happy Public School, a private school of Hasaud, through an anicut (small bridge) built in the river in an attempt to take a short cut. During this, due to the negligence of the driver, the bus fell into the canal near Pisaud.
Seeing the bus falling into the river, the people bathing nearby showed promptness and rescued all the children safely. One child has suffered a minor injury, who has been taken to the hospital for treatment. As soon as the information about the incident was received, people along with the family members of the children also rushed to the spot. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief when all the children were safe.
