Kawardha. With the special efforts of Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Regional Saras Fair 2024 is being organized for the first time in Kabirdham district. Regional Saras Fair will be organized from 26 February to 6 March at PG College grounds of Kabirdham district headquarters. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma will attend the inauguration ceremony of Saras Mela as the chief guest. The program will be presided over by MP Santosh Pandey, special guest Pandaria MLA Mrs.
Bhavna Bohra, District Panchayat President Mrs. Sushila Ramkumar Bhatt, Kawardha District President Mrs. Indrani Dinesh Chandravanshi. Preparations for organizing Saras Mela are being done in full swing. Collector Janmejay Mahobe is monitoring the preparations for organizing Saras Fair. In Saras Fair, there will be sale and exhibition of materials produced by all the districts of the state as well as self-help groups of Kabirdham district. In the 10-day Saras Mela, various types of goods produced by the group will be put up for sale to the general public. About 200 stalls will be set up in the Saras Fair.
Collector Janmejay Mahobe said that for the first time a regional Saras fair is being organized in the district, which will start from February 26 at the PG College Ground in Kawardha. In the fair, there will be exhibition cum sale stalls of various materials manufactured by self-help groups of the state and other states. Along with this, there will also be various materials and craft market produced by Swadeshi Manch. He told that earlier this fair was to be held from 24th February, but now it will be held from 26th February to 6th March.
In the 10-day fair, along with cultural programs every day, there will be a Meena Bazaar for children and a food court for delicious dishes, there will be a stall of banks, in which the schemes of the banks will be explained. Various shops related to their business will be available to the general public in Saras Mela by business organizations. District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Sandeep Kumar Aggarwal said that preparations for the fair are going on in full swing. Materials will be available to the general public for exhibition and sale of their products by various groups from the state and other states. Various cultural programs will be organized in the fair. This is the first time that Saras Fair is being organized in the district. He appealed to the people of the district to take advantage of the fair by attending the fair with their families.
