Sangareddy: Rs 168.30 crore approved for Singur C.C. lining work

Sangareddy: Good news for Singur ayacut farmers, Irrigation department has sanctioned Rs. 168.30 crore for C.C. lining work of Singur canals in Sangareddy district. The multipurpose project built across Manjira river in Singur village of Pulkal mandal covers 40,000 acres of ayacut in Pulkal, Andole, Munipalli, Chottakur and Sadashivpet mandals.
This project is considered the lifeline of Sangareddy district. With the efforts of Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha, Secretary of Irrigation Department Rahul Bojja has released the grant. The lining work will allow free flow of water and prevent wastage of water.
