Mahasamund. Under the ambitious public welfare initiative of Chhattisgarh government, Sushasan Tihar, Samadhan camps are being organized in Mahasamund district from 5 May to 31 May. In this sequence, a Samadhan camp was organized in village Kodar of Mahasamund development block on May 12, where a large number of villagers participated and got the benefit of various government schemes. In the camp, job cards, ration cards, pension acceptance letters and Prime Minister Abhinandan certificates were distributed to the eligible beneficiaries by MLA Yogeshwar Raju Sinha and other public representatives. This gave direct benefit of the schemes to the villagers and helped in connecting them with government services.
Priority category ration cards were provided to the eligible beneficiaries of village Kauajhar and Parsadih in the camp. The beneficiaries included Payal Sahu, Yamuna Sahu, Premeen Yadav, Kamin Sahu, Padmani Sahu, Kaleshwari Dhruv, Neera Dhruv, Maheshwari Dhruv and Rajkumar Kosle. The faces of the beneficiaries lit up after getting ration cards. The beneficiaries said that now they will not only get ration at a cheaper rate, but they will also become eligible for other welfare schemes.
Similarly, when job cards were provided to Mrs. Khileswari, Mrs. Motin, Mrs. Premin Bai and Mr. Yomin Sahu, residents of village Gadhasivani, they expressed happiness and said that now they will get an opportunity to get employment under MNREGA, which will improve the economic condition of their family. Also, Mr. Sushil Baghel of village Kukradih and Mr. Netram Sahu and Mr. Pitambar Sahu of Achhola village also received job cards. They said that this scheme will give them an opportunity to work in the village itself, so that there will be no need to migrate outside and they will be able to live a respectable life by staying with their family. In the camp, Tukaram and Santoshi Chandrakar were given a congratulatory letter for Pradhan Mantri Awas. They said that they have got a concrete house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), due to which their family is now living under a safe and permanent roof. In the Samadhan camp, four beneficiaries of village Achholi and Parsadih received pension acceptance letters under the pension schemes of the Social Welfare Department. Mr. Thanu Ram Nishad got the benefit of Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme and Kodaram Yadav, Sukhiram Sahu and Manrakhan Yadav got the benefit of Chief Minister Pension Scheme. All of them expressed their gratitude to the government, calling the scheme a relief. Through Samadhan camps, the villagers are getting quick benefits of the schemes and direct communication is being established with the government.
