West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday called the Supreme Court order quashing the conviction of 11 people convicted of gang-raping Bilkis Bano and murdering seven of her family members during the 2002 riots as “strong and bold.” ” told.
All 11 convicts were granted immunity by the Gujarat government and were released on August 15, 2022.
