Sachin Tendulkar’s big statement, says Asha Bhosle’s advice fulfilled his life

Mumbai: Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar once followed the music recommendation of late playback singer Asha Bhosle, and he loved it. The cricketer recently shared how his life came full circle after the recommendation.
On Wednesday, the cricketer shared several photos and videos of his meeting with the French musical group, Gipsy Kings, on his Instagram.
He shared that Asha Bhosle had gifted him Gipsy Kings CDs, and how he instantly fell in love with the musical group’s music.
He wrote a long note in the caption, “In 1990, Asha Tai gifted me some Gipsy Kings CDs, and I’ve been a huge fan ever since. Thirty-six years later, the circle was complete when I met the legendary Nicolas Reyes at Neeraj’s summer party! What a wonderful surprise. Truly, some moments are worth waiting for decades.” Asha Bhosle, one of the most influential singers of her time, passed away earlier this year. She was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on Saturday. Maharashtra Culture Minister Ashish Shelar announced her death. The legendary playback singer’s funeral took place at Shivaji Park in Mumbai. Many prominent figures from the music and film industries, as well as the political and business worlds, paid tribute to the late singer.
The singer was given a guard of honor at her home. Her body was taken from her Lower Parel home to the Shivaji Park crematorium in Dadar. The singer’s body was wrapped in the tricolor and was buried with full state honors.
Bollywood superstars Aamir Khan, actors Vicky Kaushal and Vivek Oberoi, singers Anup Jalota and Shaan, filmmaker Ramesh Sippy, and actress Padmini Kolhapuri all arrived at Shivaji Park to pay their last respects.
Asha Bhosle received numerous awards for her many notable songs throughout her career. The singer was awarded the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2000, followed by the Padma Vibhushan in 2008.
