Kiev: At least five people killed in Russian missile and drone attacks on Ukraine. Police said that about 26 other people were injured in the attack. Russia targeted Ukraine’s largest hydroelectric station, Dnipros, in the southern Zaporozhye region with missiles, local officials said Friday. Three people were killed and 15 were injured in this attack. According to the report of Xinhua news agency, two people were killed and 11 were injured in the western Khmelnytsky region. Electricity supply in the area has also been disrupted due to the attack. Ukrainian officials described the airstrike as the largest-ever attack on the country’s energy infrastructure, damaging more than 100 buildings and energy facilities. Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that the Russian military carried out massive missile and drone attacks on energy and military facilities in Ukraine on Friday.
