Ruby Sinha became the chairperson of BRICS CCI V
New Delhi (IANS) | The BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRICS CCI) has appointed Ruby Sinha as the chairperson of the BRICS CCI V, the women’s vertical of the organisation, for a period of three years. BRICS CCI works towards promoting active trade, commerce and entrepreneurship among BRICS and other friendly nations. He succeeds Shabana Naseem who has become Executive Director in BRICS CCI and Chief Patron of BRICS CCI V.
BRICS CCI Women Vertical is striving towards creating a credible pool of professionals, entrepreneurs, business partners working in different geographies and industry verticals and to promote professional dialogue among the members by organizing regular event platforms and other types of interactions. is promoting It also facilitates mentoring/training programs for women professionals.

I have been a part of the women’s vertical BRICS CCI V since its inception and being a woman entrepreneur myself, I look forward to our focus on women empowerment and entrepreneurship during my tenure.
Ruby Sinha is an entrepreneur herself. She is the founder of Sheetwork and Kommune Brand Communications, a one-stop knowledge hub for women entrepreneurs. She started her career as a journalist and has been involved in initiatives to support and encourage entrepreneurship among women.
