RSPB to organize Senior National Freestyle, Greco-Roman and Women’s Wrestling Championships in February

New Delhi: The Ad-hoc Committee of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) announced that the Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB) is organizing a Senior National Freestyle, Greco-Roman and Women’s Wrestling Championships. In Jaipur from 2-5 February this year.

In a statement, the body also said that the championships conducted “are genuine, sanctioned and recognized championships by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and all government benefits will be available only to the players participating in such national championships.”

“Accordingly, the Ad-hoc Committee of the WFI has requested the Railway Sports Promotion Board to organize the Senior National Freestyle, Greco-Roman and Women’s National Wrestling Championships. In keeping with the request of the ad-hoc WFI, the RSPB is organizing the Senior National Freestyle. Greco-Roman Style and Women’s National Wrestling Championships 2023 in Jaipur from February 2-5, 2024,” the statement said.
