The Royal Enfield Bear 650 motorcycle that was unveiled last week has been launched in India. The latest 650cc motorcycle from Royal Enfield has a starting price of Rs 3.39 lakh. The most premium trim of the motorcycle is priced at Rs 3.59 lakh. The Bear 650 will be sold alongside the Interceptor 650.
The engine on the Royal Enfield Bear 650 is the same as the Interceptor 650, but the torque output from the former is higher than the former. The Bear 650 produces 56.5Nm of torque, while the Interceptor 650 produces 4Nm less torque. On the other hand, the power output of the engine is the same as before. The two exhaust systems that are present on the Interceptor 650 are not present on the Bear 650. In the Bear 650, we get a two-in-one exhaust system and this plays a major role in reducing its weight by 2 kg.
The new Interceptor Bear 650 is available in Broadwalk White, Petrol Green, Wild Honey, Golden Shadow and Two Four Nine colour options. Broadwalk White is the base variant and is priced at Rs 3.39 lakh, while the Petrol Green and Wild Honey variants are priced at Rs 3.44 lakh. On the other hand, the Golden Shadow and Two Four Nine variants are priced at Rs 3.51 lakh and Rs 3.59 lakh respectively.
Key Details
The Bear 650 gets a scrambler style seat and a number board on the side panel which makes it look even more stunning. The bike gets LED lights (including indicators) on both the front and rear. The wheel sizes include 19 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear. These spoke wheels are shod with MRF Nylorex off-road tyres.
Although the chassis remains the same as the Interceptor, we get an upgraded suspension. It gets Showa USD forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. The motorcycle features a full-colour TFT screen with Bluetooth integration that is also offered on the Himalayan 450.
