Rohit Sharma wants to meet Zinedine Zidane

New Delhi (IANS) | When Rohit Sharma was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 9.2 crore in 2011, little did the ‘Paltan’ know that he would go on to become the most successful captain in IPL history. Having spent 12 years with the franchise, Rohit has become a legend in the Mumbai Indians team and a favorite among Mumbaikars. Speaking to Star Sports, Rohit mentioned the person he would like to meet.

Zinedine Zidane. There’s a lot to ask of him, how did he headbutt that game? Why Did you do this? How he managed to get those championship titles one after the other with a lot of people in his team at the end of his career as manager of Real Madrid. How did he manage to maintain consistency in all the matches and get the best out of the team? These are the things I would ask him and maybe a few more.

Rohit further talked about the places he likes to visit in Mumbai. I used to go to a place in Borivali, which the world doesn’t know about, but there is a place in Borivali. He further revealed where the best street food is in Mumbai. Yes, the place I like the most is Khau Gali which is between Cross Maidan and Azad Maidan. I have spent so much time playing in Cross Maidan and Azad Maidan, that is where we used to go a lot as kids and eat whatever was available there.

Rohit also told what he likes best about Mumbai, he said, I love monsoon in Mumbai, it is very beautiful. Over the years, I haven’t got time in Mumbai, but having spent my childhood in Mumbai, I know how monsoon is here and I love it.
