Raipur: Arrests have been made in the robbery of a press worker. According to the police, Raju Singh and Kamlesh Singh, who work at Vishwa Parivar Dainik Patrika Road in Urla, were returning to Vishwa Parivar Dainik Patrika with ration at 9.30 pm when three unknown persons riding a Pulsar motorcycle stopped the applicant and his companion, abused them and stabbed them with a knife. Kamlesh Singh got injured in his leg and thigh. He was admitted for treatment and his companion Raju Singh came to the police station and filed a report. Crime number 184/24 under sections 341, 294, 506B, 323, IPC was registered against the unknown accused and investigation was taken up. During investigation, the section of robbery was added as they were found to have looted the mobile.
chhattisgarh news Taking the above mentioned incident of robbery seriously and on the instructions of the Senior Superintendent of Police to arrest the accused soon, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police City Lakhan Patel and City Superintendent of Police Urla Manishanker Chandra, Police Station Incharge Urla BL Chandrakar and the team of the police station inspected the incident spot and CCTV while making detailed enquiry about the incident from the applicant and the injured.
Efforts were being made to identify the unknown accused by the team members by making detailed enquiry from the applicant about the appearance of the accused and the two-wheelers used by them. Meanwhile, the team members took the IMEI number and call details of the mobile of Kamlesh Singh, who was injured during the incident, and after technical analysis, found that the mobile was being used by a person named Ravi Pandey. On interrogation, he told that the mobile was given to him by an auto passenger as he did not have the auto fare. He drove it for two days, after which he returned the mobile after taking his fare. The name of the person was revealed to be Dhanesh Sahu. On showing his house, Dhanesh Sahu was taken into custody and on interrogation, he told that he had beaten Chalu with his other companions, a juvenile and O Ravindra Rao, on his Pulsar motor cycle bearing registration number CG 04 PM 4703 to rob the mobile. The looted mobile, the motor cycle and knife used in the incident have been seized.
