Mumbai (IANS) | Actress Richa Chadha’s international debut with Indo-British production ‘Aaina’ was officially launched at the House of Lords in London. Richa is in the lead role alongside British actor William Mosley.
‘Aaina’ was officially launched by the makers of the film at the prestigious House of Lords. Where MP R. T. Hone Stuart Andrew along with the lead cast, director and producers of the film announced the film. Apart from being a Member of Parliament, he also holds important positions in the Department of Culture, Media and Sports.
‘Mirror’ is directed by Markus Meidt. The film is a social drama about the impact of violence caused by war on humans and society at large.
Richa said: I am excited to work in a new part of the world, I love to experiment. They have assembled an impressive pool of the best talent from India and the UK. It is going to be a truly collaborative effort to make a film dealing with such an important subject.
We are currently prepping for the film in London, which is expected to go on floors on 2nd June. I have always strived for a challenging role and this is certainly one of the most difficult roles I have taken up.
Chadha will be sharing the screen with William Moseley, who shot to fame as a child actor in the film ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’. Moseley also played an impressive role in the Indian film ‘Margarita with a Straw’, demonstrating his extraordinary and versatility as an actor. The film is being produced by Big Cat Films UK and produced by Geeta Bhalla and PJ Singh.
Richa will next be seen in Zee Studios’ film ‘Nurse Manjot’, the third installment of the mega hit comedy franchise ‘Fukrey 3’ and will also be playing a lead role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much awaited series ‘Hiramandi’.
