Richa Chadha : Hindi cinema’s powerful actress Richa Chadha is now going to do another international film. The official launch of the film took place at the House of Lords in London. Richa has also made a lot of headlines for her earlier Indo-French production ‘Masaan’ and ‘Love Sonia’. The backdrop of his new film ‘Aaina’ is London and India. This Indo-Brit production marks another important milestone in Richa’s impressive career. In it, she is playing the lead role alongside British actor William Mosley.
Aaina was officially launched by the makers of the film at the prestigious House of Lords. Wherein MP RT Hone Stuart Andrew announced the film along with the lead cast, director and producers of the film. Apart from being a Member of Parliament, he also holds important positions in the Department of Culture, Media and Sports.
Directed by Markus Meitd, Aaina is a social drama about the impact of violence caused by war on humans and society at large. Talking about this project, Richa said, ‘I am excited to work in a new part of the world, I love to experiment. They have assembled an impressive pool of the best talent from India and the UK. It is going to be a truly collaborative effort to launch a film dealing with such an important subject.
Talking about the shooting of the film, Richa says, “We are currently prepping for the film in London and the shooting is expected to start from 2nd June. I have always strived for challenging roles and this is definitely one of the most difficult parts I have taken up.” She will be seen alongside William Mosley in the film, who made his debut as a child actor in “The Chronicles of Narnia”. have gained a lot of fame.
Moseley also played an impressive role in the Indian film “Margarita with a Straw”, demonstrating his extraordinary talent and versatility as an actor. The film is being produced by Big Cat Films UK and produced by Geeta Bhalla and PJ Singh. Richa will next be seen in Zee Studios’ film ‘Nurse Manjot’, the third installment of the mega hit comedy franchise ‘Fukrey 3’ and will also be playing a lead role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited series ‘Heeramandi’.
