Richa Chadha pledges support to three women entrepreneurs

Mumbai (IANS) | Bollywood actress Richa Chadha says she would support three budding women entrepreneurs for any course that can help them hone their skills to further grow their businesses. The actress has announced the expansion of her initiative ‘Undercurrent Lab’ to 2022. The aim of the lab was to target women in the film industry to help them get training in departments where they have no representation.

Richa said that whether it is a small business or a big one, it has various aspects like branding, marketing, financial planning etc., and it is very important to educate entrepreneurs about these.

I want to help amazing women entrepreneurs who are working to stand up for their vision and carve a niche for themselves. Basically three women entrepreneurs will be selected for the course on branding, marketing, financial planning etc.

It is easy to write a note on women empowerment or coin a slogan on it, but the real work starts when you actually do something about it.

On the film front, Richa has completed her first production ‘Girls Will Be Girls’ under her and Ali Fazal’s production house, Pushing Button Studios.

Richa has wrapped up shooting for ‘Fukrey 3’ and will soon be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s series ‘Hiramandi’ on Netflix.
