NEW DELHI: The revised dates for the NEET-PG exams, postponed due to irregularities, has been announced. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced that the exam will be held on August 11. The exam scheduled for June 23 was postponed after irregularities were noticed. These exams will be held next month.
The exam will be held in two shifts. More than 1.75 lakh students will appear for NEET-PG exam. It is informed that all the loopholes will be closed and the exam will be conducted safely.
Meantime, CBI’s crucial arrest in the NEET-UG question paper leak happened the other day. The CBI arrested the mastermind Aman Singh from Dhanbad in Jharkhand. This was the seventh arrest of CBI in the case. Hazaribagh school principal Isaan-ul-Haq and examination center superintendent Imtiaz Alam were arrested earlier in the case. The question paper was leaked from a school in Hazaribagh. The principal of the school and the superintendent of the examination center were arrested in connection with this.
The CBI had arrested a private school owner from Godhra in Gujarat on Sunday. The arrested is Dikshit Patel. The investigation revealed that he demanded Rs 10 lakh from 27 students to conduct irregularities in the exam.
The CBI registered a case on the complaint of the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development regarding the NEET UG question paper leak and is conducting an investigation. The CBI was forced to investigate after allegations of widespread irregularities were levelled in the examination conducted on May 5. Following this, other exams conducted by the National Testing Agency were also postponed.
