Pondi police station of MCB district has arrested retired ranger Hiralal Sen and his colleague journalist Mushtaq Qureshi in the case of rape of a minor. At the same time, an accused in the case, who is said to be a relative of the minor, is still absconding.
According to the information, in 2019, when the victim was a minor, the minor was called to Manendragarh on the pretext of giving her a job. The minor was taken to Baikunthpur by the accused, where she was raped. In the case, the police have taken the accused into custody and investigation is being done.
