Relief to passengers during festive season, Pooja special train will run between Prayagraj-Hadapsar

Bhopal. In view of the increasing crowd of passengers in trains during the festive season, Puja special train will be run between Prayagraj and Hadapsar. The availability of additional special train services between the two cities is expected to provide relief to passengers traveling between Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Prayagraj-Hadapsar Puja Special train will leave from Prayagraj station every Wednesday from October 21 to November 18, 2026, while in return, Hadapsar-Prayagraj special train will leave from Hadapsar every Thursday from October 22 to November 19.

A large number of people travel towards their homes during Diwali and other festivals. At such times the demand for seats in regular trains increases. Amidst this additional passenger pressure, the services of Pooja special train will provide an additional option for the passengers.

As per the released schedule, Prayagraj-Hadapsar Puja special train will start its service from October 21. This train will run every Wednesday till 18 November 2026. The train will leave from Prayagraj station at 10.20 pm. During the night journey it will proceed towards Maharashtra via major railway stations of Madhya Pradesh.

After leaving from Prayagraj, the train will reach Bina at 11.35 pm. After this, continuing the journey, it will reach Rani Kamalapati station at 2 am the next day. After the scheduled stop here, the train will reach Itarsi at 3.35 am. Further via the prescribed route, the train will reach Hadapsar at 7.30 pm.

This special service will also benefit the passengers of areas en route including Bina, Rani Kamalapati and Itarsi. People traveling between Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra, especially during festival times, will get an additional option apart from regular trains.

Hadapsar-Prayagraj Puja special train has been arranged for the return journey. This train will leave from Hadapsar station every Thursday from 22 October to 19 November 2026. As per the scheduled time, the train will depart from Hadapsar for Prayagraj at 10.40 pm.

In this way, special train service will be available from Prayagraj to Hadapsar on Wednesday and from Hadapsar to Prayagraj on Thursday. Its operation from the second fortnight of October to the second fortnight of November will provide additional convenience to passengers planning to travel during the festive period.

Rail connectivity between Prayagraj and Hadapsar is important for travelers from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Hadapsar is a major railway station in the Pune region. A large number of people from Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh reside in Pune and surrounding areas for employment, education and business. During festivals a large number of these travelers head towards their home areas and return after the festivals are over.

In such a situation, the demand for rail tickets increases during October and November as compared to normal days. Special trains provide alternative travel facilities to passengers when reservation conditions in regular trains become difficult. Prayagraj-Hadapsar Puja special train will also be available for passengers during the same period.

It will be important for passengers to keep in mind the date and day of the week of the train. The special train from Prayagraj to Hadapsar will run only on Wednesday during the scheduled period. Whereas the train coming from Hadapsar to Prayagraj will operate on Thursday. In such a situation, while planning the journey, it will be necessary to check the relevant date and scheduled departure time of the train.

As the train departs from Prayagraj at 10:20 pm, passengers will have to plan to reach the station well in advance. Similarly, the return train from Hadapsar will leave at 10:40 pm. Passengers are advised to check the journey date, station and train information carefully at the time of ticket booking.

Passengers of the state will also benefit from the arrival of important stations like Bina, Rani Kamalapati and Itarsi of Madhya Pradesh on the way of the special train. Itarsi is one of the major railway junctions of the country and rail connectivity is available from here to many directions. Rani Kamalapati station is important for the travelers of Bhopal area.

Puja special train will be operated for a limited period. Its service from Prayagraj will start on October 21 and will run till November 18, while the return service from Hadapsar will start from October 22 and will be available till November 19. After this period, no additional schedule has been mentioned in the information given regarding the operation of the train.
