Relative killed woman for not talking in Rajasthan

Jaipur (IANS) | A woman was killed by her relative for allegedly not talking to her in Talwadi area of Rajasthan’s Kota district. The police gave this information on Wednesday.

DSP Amar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Narendra. Narendra barged into the house of 52-year-old victim Bhavna with a sword and hid there. Narendra attacked Bhavna repeatedly with the sword, when Vada was trying to defend herself, she suffered injuries on her leg and abdomen. The accused was also injured during the fight.

People present in the house caught Narendra and handed him over to the police and Bhavna was brought to the hospital, where she died due to excessive bleeding.

Bhavna is survived by a son and a daughter and an ailing husband. She used to run a medical store after her husband Rakesh Gautam became disabled. Narendra is also reportedly married and has two children. Bhavna’s body has been sent for postmortem.
