Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai attended the Mega Teacher Parent Program organized in village Bandarchuna of Jashpur district today. In his address at the program, the Chief Minister said that for the good education of children and their improved future, it is necessary that parents communicate regularly with teachers. The more teachers and parents participate in the dialogue process, the more creative development of children will take place. He asked parents and teachers to prepare them to speak freely for the personality development of children. The Chief Minister said that education is the key to development. It is not only a means to get a job but education is also very important to do the best work in any field. An educated and uneducated person both live life but there is a lot of difference in the quality of life of both.
The Chief Minister said that teachers should try to solve the curiosity of the child. On reaching home, definitely ask what the child learned today. The Chief Minister said that he has an old attachment with the school of Bandarchuna. Due to the teachers and aware parents here, the level of education in this school is very good. The Chief Minister said that education has been of great importance in Indian society since ancient times. India was called Vishwaguru. Students from all over the world used to come to the universities here to receive education. He said that a new education policy has been brought under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has been implemented in the state. Moral education has also been included in this. Along with teaching values, students are also being prepared for employment. Work is being done on skill building of students, so that employment opportunities can increase for them.
The Chief Minister said that summer camps were organized this summer. Children were connected with many creative activities. The Chief Minister said that parent-teacher meetings will be organized regularly in government schools. He requested all the parents to come to school and know about their child’s studies and progress. He said that studies will also be promoted in local dialect. Books will also be made available for this. Resources in schools will be improved through PM Yojana. Topper children will be honored. Cycles will be distributed to girl students under the Saraswati Cycle Yojana.
The Chief Minister said that libraries are being built in 22 districts of the state on the lines of Nalanda campus, in which Nalanda campuses are going to be opened in Jashpur and Kunkuri as well. Here children will be provided books and environment to prepare for competitive exams.
The school children themselves told the Chief Minister about the 12 main activities in the parent-teacher meeting. Parents also shared their experiences. Parent Shri Harisevak Chauhan said that one of his grandsons is doing MSc from here and another is studying in 11th class from here. He is an aware parent who has complete information about his children’s studies.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister’s wife Kaushalya Sai also addressed. She said that since 1997-98, she has been getting the opportunity to participate in the celebrations of Independence and Republic Day in Bandarchuna School. She has a heartfelt connection with the children here. She has been coming here to guide the children even before the exams. I want to tell the children and parents that they should not take stress for the exam results. They should give the exam with full hard work. They should not take stress even if their marks are more or less. Family is the first school and parents are the first teachers.
Announcements of the Chief Minister – On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced the construction of a fully equipped bus stand in Bandarchuna. He also announced the installation of solar street lights on the roadside from the primary school Bandarchuna to Chheraghoghara Chowk, road and bridge on the way from Bhuiyar Basti to Sarna, renovation of Gayatri Mandir and Shiv Mandir, increasing the capacity of the ashram hostel from 50 to 100 and construction of a mini stadium in Bandarchuna.
