Chinese smartphone maker Realme is reportedly planning to launch the next edition of its GT Neo series smartphones in China. Realme GT Neo 6 and Realme GT Neo 6 Pro are expected to be included in this lineup. Ahead of the launch, the specifications of both the smartphones have been leaked online. Recent leaks have revealed that the Realme GT Neo 6 may be powered by MediaTek Dimensity SoC, while the GT Neo 6 Pro may be powered by a Snapdragon chipset. Tipster Alex has shared the processor and some other specifications of the Realme GT Neo 6 series on Twitter. According to the tipster, the Realme GT Neo 6 series will include two phones, the Realme GT Neo 6 and the Realme GT Neo 6 Pro. Let us tell you that MediaTek Dimensity 9000 series chipset will be available in GT Neo 6, while Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is likely to be available in Pro model.
The tipster also revealed that the Realme GT Neo 6, coming as an upgrade version of the Realme GT Neo 5, will get a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. Apart from this, this phone will come with 16GB RAM and 1TB inbuilt storage. At the same time, Realme GT Neo 6 Pro is expected to pack a 4,600mAh battery with 240W fast charging support. For storage, the smartphone can be given up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
The design of Realme GT Neo 6 was leaked recently. The smartphone is likely to sport a dual-tone back panel with a green color shade that will house a large rectangular camera setup. The phone will have 3 camera sensors and an LED flash module. Apart from this, a Snapdragon logo has also been seen on the rear panel, which shows that the phone will work on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The leaked Realme GT Neo 6 shows sporty slim edges with the volume and power buttons on the right side. However, so far no official statement has come from the company regarding these.
