Mumbai (IANS) | Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon was recently honored with India’s fourth highest civilian award ‘Padma Shri’ at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi for her contribution to Indian cinema. Following which the actress was trolled by a section of internet users questioning her win. Now the actress has replied to the trollers saying that she will choose silence as she does not want to give any importance to them.
Hitting back at the trolls, the actress said that she doesn’t care about people with less than 20 followers as they come with their own agenda.
The actress said that I do not want to give any importance to them as they have their own agenda. Comments from some people who have 20 followers and haven’t seen the work that I have done will not diminish my body of work.
They only see the glamour, they don’t see our hard work and long hours, the actress added. We know how polarized things are on social media today, but others have sent (wishes) so beautiful.
Talking about the Padma Awards ceremony, the actress and her family attended the grand ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah also attended the ceremony.
