On 03-04-23, a person from Chowki Bara area informed in police station Pulbhatta that on 27-03-2023, his elder daughter was married in Golden Palace marriage hall of Bara. That day around 12.00 pm, a person named Gajendra Singh along with his friend Kamal Singh Rathore dragged the minor daughter from outside the Golden Palace marriage hall in a numberless jeep to Nadeli Road. Where she was raped by Gajendra Singh and left her daughter near the house around 4 in the morning. On the basis of Tahrir, FIR-67/2023 U/S-363/366A/376/506/323 IPC and ¾ POCSO ACT were registered against both the above accused at Police Station Pulbhatta. The investigation was handed over to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Deepa.
For the arrest of the accused in the said incident, as per the instructions of the Senior Superintendent of Police, District Udhamsinghnagar, as per the instructions of the Superintendent of Police, City Rudrapur and Jurisdictional Sitarganj, the police station chief Pulbhatta and his team, while taking prompt action, within 24 hours of the registration of the charges, sent both the accused to the Uttamnagar Gurdwara. The jeep used in the incident was raided on the road leading to Behedi and was caught with khaki without number plate. During interrogation, the accused Kamal Singh confirmed that on the day of the incident, Gajendra Singh, along with Gajendra Singh, took the minor kidnapper from near the Golden Palace by driving his own jeep and Gajendra Singh raped her. Medical examination of the kidnapper has also been done. Both the accused are being produced before the Hon’ble Court for remand.
