Meanwhile, reports suggest that the makers are not going to take a long gap like most other sequels and have decided to release the second part on March 19, 2026, to capitalize on the popular Eid festival holiday and the subsequent long weekend. Interestingly, Dhurandhar 2 will not be limited to just Hindi like the first part, but will have a massive release in other languages, especially in South India. This is because the Hindi version received a tremendous response in the Telugu states, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. According to reports, the sequel will be dubbed into five languages. Given the immense hype surrounding it, Dhurandhar 2 could pose a major challenge to other films releasing in the early summer. Several other big films from Bollywood and South cinema are also eyeing the Eid festival and the following week to take advantage of the summer holidays. Popular pan-India films like Toxic, Peddi, The Paradise, and Dhamaal 4 are slated for release in March. Ranbir Kapoor’s Love and War is also expected to hit theaters around the same time. Since Dhurandhar proved to be a massive blockbuster and the story has a patriotic theme, the sequel will undoubtedly generate tremendous hype before its release, unlike any other film in recent times.
