Vijayawada: People of Rangannagudem in Bapulapadu mandal of Krishna district felicitated Tummala Krishna Chaitanya, a young engineer from the village, for securing 74th rank in the Indian Forest Service (IFS) examination (Main).
Presently, Krishna Chaitanya is working as Assistant Section Officer (ASO) in Andhra Pradesh State Secretariat at Velagapudi.
There was an atmosphere of celebration in Rangannagudem as soon as the news of Chaitanya securing 74th rank was received. He is happy that a person from his village has become an Indian Forest Service officer.
Krishna Chaitanya is the second person from Rangannagudem to get rank in UPSC exam. Earlier, Pusuluru Ravi Kiran was selected in ICLS after getting 655th rank in UPSC.
Interestingly, Chaitanya also did his regular duties while preparing for the UPSC exam.
