New Delhi: BSP leader Raj Kumar Anand, his wife Veena Anand and some other leaders joined BJP. Former Delhi government minister Rajkumar Anand has joined BJP. Along with Rajkumar Anand, his wife Veena Anand has also joined BJP. Apart from this, some other leaders of Aam Aadmi Party have also joined BJP. Assembly elections are to be held in Delhi next year. In such a situation, Rajkumar Anand’s joining BJP is being seen as a setback for the Aam Aadmi Party.
Earlier in the month of April, Raj Kumar Anand resigned from the post of minister in the AAP government. Rajkumar Anand, who was an MLA from Patel Nagar, while resigning from the AAP government had said that he does not agree with the policy of the Delhi government regarding corruption. However, after leaving the Aam Aadmi Party, Rajkumar Anand joined the BSP. At that time also it was being speculated that Rajkumar Anand might join BJP but at that time he rode an elephant. Now Rajkumar Anand has joined BJP along with his wife. After joining BSP, Rajkumar Anand had also filed nomination from New Delhi Lok Sabha seat.
