Bhumi Pujan and e-plate of Jasdan Taluka Sports Complex of Rajkot district was unveiled. Minister Kunvarji Bavaliya present in the program said that the Gujarat government is continuously making efforts to provide national and international platform to the players and maximum number of national competitions should be organized in Gujarat and get the benefit of national level competition. Under which sports complex is being constructed in Jasdan taluka under the program of development of modern sports complexes at the district level by the sports, youth and cultural activities department of the state government. They said that
A 7-acre sports complex would be built at a cost of Rs 6.79 crore.
Players will get state-of-the-art facilities
The sports complex will have an indoor multipurpose hall with state-of-the-art facilities for indoor sports as well as outdoor sports facilities. Sports complexes are functional in 19 districts and 3 talukas across the state. In which now Jasdan taluka has been included which is a matter of happiness. Kunvarji Bavaliya told about the development programs done and being done for irrigation, education, health, housing and basic facilities in Jasdan area. Along with this, the local officials were instructed to do concrete work so that the benefits of various schemes of the state government reach the people.
Jasdan’s players will play role at international level: MLA Padaliya
Congratulating the people of Jasdan for the construction of the sports complex, MLA Mahendra Padaliya said that when the youth of Jasdan have progressed a lot at the national level, this complex will play an important role in taking them forward at the international level as well. The program was started with the lighting of the lamp. The dignitaries present were welcomed by presenting bouquets and books. On this occasion, Panchayat Vice President Savitaben Vachani, Mamlatdar Sanjay Singh Aswal, Sports Officer, former member of Taluka Municipality, Sports Authority President, P.T. A large number of townspeople including teachers, local leaders, youth players were present.
