Rajasthan Police: Three people arrested and more than 22 lakh cash including gold recovered

Rajasthan: Police arrested three people in Dungarpur district and recovered gold worth Rs 1.30 crore and cash worth Rs 22.49 lakh from their possession. A police officer gave this information on Friday. Bichiwada police station in-charge Kailash Soni said that a campaign is being run against illegal activities and under this, information was received on Thursday night that three people were carrying illegal gold and cash in a bus. He said, “The police team blocked the Ratanpur border in Bichiwada, Rajasthan, adjacent to Gujarat. The three suspects got down from a bus and had a bag with them. The police stopped the three youths and questioned them when their activities seemed suspicious.” Police have arrested Sirohi residents Chandulal Sain, Tejaram Dewasi and Ashok Meghwal. He said that during the search of the three, one kg 478 grams of gold and jewelry were found. On not getting any satisfactory answer during interrogation, the police seized the gold and cash and arrested the three people.
