Rajamouli mourns the death of Ray Stevenson, said- working with him was a wonderful experience

New Delhi (IANS) On the demise of RRR fame actor Ray Stevenson, who played the brutal British Raj governor of Delhi in the film, S.S. Rajamouli paid tribute to him. The ‘RRR’ producer tweeted, Shocking..Can’t believe this news. Ray Stevenson brought a lot of energy and vibrancy to the set. It was a wonderful experience working with him. Our prayers are with his family. May his soul rest in peace.
Stevenson died on Sunday at the age of 58.
He began his career in TV shows in the 1990s and then took on action roles in Hollywood films in the early 2000s, most famously as Volstagg in Marvel’s “Thor” franchise.
His first leading role was in Antoine Fuqua’s 2004 film King Arthur. In it, he played the role of Dagnet, one of the Knights of the Round Table. Furthermore, in 2008, Stevenson played a starring role in the Marvel film ‘Punisher: War Zone’.
Most recently, Stevenson starred in the upcoming action-adventure limited series Ahsoka, a spin-off from the Star Wars franchise, The Mandalorian.
