Durg city ASP Sukhnandan Rathore said that on April 26, 2018, Raipur resident Bhakla alias Bhola was murdered near Railway Colony Durg. GRP Bhilai had registered a case of murder in the matter. The accused in this case was Mukesh Chauhan (22 years), resident of Titurdih Kailash Nagar Durg. GRP was continuously investigating the murder cases of accused Mukesh, but he was not being caught.
In this case, warrants were issued several times from Durg District Court, but the police were not able to produce the accused. Durg SP Jitendra Shukla formed a team for this and gave instructions to arrest the accused. The police circulated the photo of the accused everywhere. After this, Mohan Nagar police succeeded in arresting the accused on Monday night. After this he was handed over to GRP. GRP has sent the accused to judicial custody.
