Raipur: There will be no water supply in 28 areas tomorrow

Raipur. A 10-hour shutdown is to be taken on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 for leakage repair in the 1400 mm diameter HS raw water pipeline of the 150 MLD plant under Ravanbhatha Filter Plant near Bhatgaon Chowk. In this regard, Executive Engineer Filter Plant Nar Singh Farendra of Municipal Corporation Water Works Department informed that due to the said repair work, a 10-hour shutdown is proposed on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

Due to this necessary work, the overhead tanks Bhatgaon, Changorabhatha, Kushalpur, D.D. Nagar, Idgahbhatha, Sarona, Tatibandh, Kota, Kabir Nagar, Jarwai, Gogaon, Mathpuraina, Lalpur, Amlidih, Avanti Vihar, Mandi, Mowa, Saddu, Daldal Seoni, Ramnagar, Kachana, Amasivani, Devpuri, Boriyakhurd, Jora, Bhanpuri Naya, Raipura, Kukurbera and the overhead tanks Baron Bazar (new), Devendra Nagar (new), Sanjay Nagar and Moti Bagh overhead tanks filled from the new 80 MLD plant will have regular water supply in the morning on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 and there will be no evening water supply. Apart from the above, water supply from other reservoirs and power pumps located in Raipur city will remain as usual. On Wednesday, 5th March 2025, regular water supply will be provided from all the tanks in the morning.
