Raipur: Polling workers created ruckus

Raipur. The polling workers created a ruckus. The polling personnel present at the BTI ground say that neither food nor water has been provided since morning. We are suffering from the heat. All the toilets are closed and those that are open have no water. Reserve personnel told that when we are talking to the ARO, they are threatening to suspend us.

Let us inform that in Chhattisgarh, voting is going on for the third phase for 7 Lok Sabha seats Raipur, Bilaspur, Korba, Raigarh, Durg, Janjgir-Champa and Surguja. Till 3 pm, 58.19% voting took place. The highest turnout so far has been in Raigarh at 67.87%. Whereas the lowest turnout was in Bilaspur at 50.76%.

There are 168 candidates in the fray in the final phase of elections, including veteran leaders of Congress and BJP. The fate of these candidates will be decided by 1 crore 39 lakh 1 thousand 285 voters. In the third phase, 82 thousand soldiers have been put on duty.
