The general assembly meeting of Raipur Municipal Corporation is going on. In the general assembly, the BJP councilor group surrounded the ruling party regarding the 3 shops built next to the corporation office. The corporation is accused of illegally building shops in the name of arrangement. The corporation has built shops on the land of the land records branch. Congress councilors also surrounded the MIC. The tender for the shops was issued without taking approval from the government. In the name of road widening, 3 shops were built to give arrangement to the shops. In the general assembly meeting, a proposal of Rs 10 crore for beautification of Naraiya pond located near Tikrapara is being discussed. Earlier, this proposal was passed in the Mayor in Council meeting. At the same time, the agenda related to building a new water tank in Khamhardih and increasing the scope of cleaning with sweeping machines will be discussed.
