Abhanpur. A young truck driver died today after coming in contact with a high tension wire in village Jaunda of police station Gobra Navapara area. The deceased Ajay Uike, son of Dashrath Uike (age 25 years) was a resident of Shivpuri Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh. On Monday afternoon, he had loaded tyres in a truck and brought them to the approved site for gravel excavation in village Jaunda.
At the spot, he was taking down the tyres from the truck with the help of hydraulics. During this time, the raised rear part of the truck came in contact with the high tension wire passing above. Due to this, the entire truck got electric current and he also got burnt after coming in contact with it. He was immediately taken to the government hospital of Gobra Navapara, where the doctor present declared him dead. On receiving information about the case, Gobra Navapara police reached the hospital and is engaged in the inquest proceedings.
