Raipur Breaking: Liquor seller arrested near passenger waiting room

Raipur news. Wine Kochia has been arrested in Tilda Nevra area. Police received information from an informer that a person is carrying liquor for sale in a white colour Activa vehicle, on which information the police raided and on reaching near village Biladi Yatri Waiting Room, a person matching the description given by the informer was seen carrying some goods in a white colour Activa number CG 04 PE 8316, who was surrounded and caught and on asking his name and address he told his name as Kamlesh Verma.

Which was recovered in front of witnesses and a notice was given to present valid documents regarding keeping and transporting the said liquor, on which it was written that no documents were present, on which Activa vehicle number CG 04 PE was recovered from the possession of the accused. 8316 old used worth Rs 30000/- and 32 quarters of country liquor masala liquor kept in a white colour bag, each quarter filled with 180 ml liquor, total quantity 5.760 bulk litres worth Rs 3520/-, total worth Rs 33520/- were seized in the presence of witnesses as per the seizure memo and the accused was arrested in Tilda Nevra police station under crime number 314/2024, section 34(2) of the Excise Act and presented before the honourable court.
