Two suppliers standing near the liquor shop selling pistols have been arrested. Police received information from an informer last night at 20:30 that two persons, one of whom is of dark complexion and is wearing a green shirt and sky blue jeans and another person with him is wearing a black shirt, are near the turn of Amlidiha liquor shop, one of whom has a pistol with him and both of them are looking for a customer to sell the pistol.
On this information, Head Constable 1610 and Civil Patrolling Team Constable 2151, 2687, 2345 and Patrolling Constable 2716 reached the place mentioned by the informer and surrounded the place. One of the persons took out a pistol from his waist and started threatening by waving it. Our staff surrounded the place and found a country-made pistol in the possession of a suspicious person. On asking his name and address, he was identified as Krishna Kumar Bairagi, father Kapil Das, age 38 years, address village Bahurpaili, district Mandla, Madhya Pradesh. On asking the name of his companion, he told his name as Bhagchand Singh Dwivedi s/o Shyam Singh, age 24 years, resident of village Karhi Dhamani, police station Narozabad, district Umaria. The suspect Krishna Bairagi was arrested after a country-made pistol was recovered from him on the spot. chhattisgarh news
