Rain will continue in Tamil Nadu until March 24.

Tamil Nadu: Light rainfall is likely at one or two places across Tamil Nadu from Sunday (March 22) through March 24.

In this regard, a press release issued by the Chennai Meteorological Department on Saturday stated: A low-level circulation persists, extending from the Gulf of Mannar to North Interior Karnataka. Consequently, moderate rainfall is likely at one or two places in the western hilly districts on Sunday (March 22). The rest of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal will continue to experience northerly weather conditions. Subsequently, light rainfall is expected at one or two places in the Coimbatore and Nilgiris districts on March 23 and 24.

Meanwhile, maximum temperatures are expected to rise slightly across the Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal regions from March 22 to March 25. It has been reported that on March 22, the maximum temperature in the Chennai and Puducherry regions will hover around 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
