Raigarh Police’s unique initiative, honouring meritorious students and citizens in the meeting of Kotwars

Raigarh. The police administration in the district has taken a unique initiative with the aim of strengthening community engagement. Meetings of village Kotwars are being organized in all police station areas on the directions of Superintendent of Police Divyang Kumar Patel. In these meetings, along with discussing the measures to maintain law and order, meritorious students and citizens doing remarkable work in their areas are being honored.

Today, an important meeting of village Kotwars was held under the chairmanship of Additional Superintendent of Police Akash Markam at Kotrarod police station. In the meeting, special information was given to the village Kotwars on their duties, the importance of resolving regional disputes and giving timely information to the police. During this, the role of Kotwars was emphasized to improve law and order. On this occasion, in the presence of Additional Superintendent of Police Akash Markam and Police Station Incharge Kotrarod Trinath Tripathi, 10 outstanding persons of the police station area were honored with certificates and mementos. Among them, teachers, health workers, village Kotwars and students were appreciated for their special contribution.

The honored citizens included

  1. Hulasaram Chaudhary: Teacher of Government Primary School Kirodimal Nagar.
  2. Parshuram Rathia: Teacher of Government Higher Secondary School Gorkha.
