Rahul took a truck ride from Murthal to Ambala

New Delhi (IANS) | Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi took a truck ride from Murthal in Haryana to Ambala to talk to the drivers to understand their issues and problems. Party sources gave this information on Tuesday. Gandhi did the midnight ride Monday-Tuesday. According to Congress sources, he reached Murthal in Haryana at around 11 pm. From Murthal, he reached Ambala in a truck at around 12 o’clock in the night.

During his journey from Murthal to Ambala, the Congress leader spoke to truck drivers about their problems.

He also spoke to them about the issues that are troubling them the most and how they can be resolved.

After reaching Ambala, Rahul Gandhi again left for Shimla in Himachal Pradesh by road.

However, the party leadership remained tight-lipped about Rahul Gandhi’s late night visit.

Rahul Gandhi had visited Delhi’s Bengali Market, Jama Masjid area last month and enjoyed local food among the public.

He then visited North Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar area to interact with UPSC aspirants and then a few days later he had lunch with Delhi University students at the PG Men’s Hostel.

The Congress leader had also visited Shakur Basti area in Delhi and talked to slum dwellers about their problems.

Women living in the Shakur Basti area told Rahul Gandhi about the fear of their homes being bulldozed and issues like no proper water supply, skyrocketing prices of essential commodities and inability to buy LPG cylinders Told.
