New Delhi: Young New Zealand all-rounder Rachin Ravindra, who is playing for Chennai in IPL 2024, feels it is very special to share the dressing room with someone like MS Dhoni.
After his stellar batting performance in the World Cup 2023 held in India, the Kiwi all-rounder was signed by Chennai for Rs 1.8 crore in the mini auction held last December.
“To be able to share the dressing room with someone like MS is special. I think we all know what he has achieved, not only for Chennai but for India as well, he is commendable.”
Ravindra said, “The best thing about MS is that he is calm and down to earth. It shows the kind of person he is and he is a great role model because no matter what you do on the cricket field, Also, you spend most of your time away from the field. So, he has worked on it very well and he is a great leader in the dressing room.”
The 24-year-old made his IPL debut for five-time champions CSK in the tournament opener against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Friday, where he scored 37 off just 15 balls to give his team a solid start in the chase of 174. Scored runs.
