Arora said, “We have come to the land of the Golden Temple to thank the Guru and offer ‘Ardaas’ for ‘Sarbat da Bhala’ (welfare of all).” He said the yatra assures the people of Punjab that their faith will never be betrayed. He said the victory in the bypolls is a testimony to the party’s policy, hard work and commitment to establishing a progressive and prosperous Punjab. He said, “The spectacular victory in the bypolls reflects the faith of the people in the AAP government. Today is not only a day of celebration but also a reaffirmation of our commitment to the people of Punjab. The municipal elections are approaching. Together we will register similar victories.” Of the four seats in the bypolls, the AAP won three – Chabbewal, Dera Baba Nanak and Gidderbaha – while the Congress won one seat in Barnala. He said the AAP is a family and everyone will be taken into confidence before taking any decision. Arora said, “Opportunities in politics come from challenges. All our leaders, office bearers and volunteers will work for the progress of Punjab.” Throughout the journey, the AAP leaders were warmly welcomed with flowers and slogans of “Inquilab Zindabad” and “Rang De Basanti Chola”. Sherry Kalsi said, “AAP is continuously growing stronger with the dedication and hard work of its leaders, volunteers and workers. This journey, which was supported by every worker of AAP, has been a journey of honesty, transparency and commitment to the people. This journey started with the foundation day of AAP.
